The NVPHBV is active in the fields of pattern recognition, image processing, and computer vision. We aim to unite science and industrial R&D from a variety of sectors to share insights regarding both scientific research and practical applications in these fields. We organize two events per year to bring experts and enthusiasts together to share, challenge, surprise and learn.

NVPHBV stands for Nederlandse Vereniging voor Patroonherkenning en Beeldverwerking (Dutch Society of Pattern Recognition and Image Processing). We are the Dutch representative to the International Association for Pattern Recognition (IAPR).
