Understanding anomalies related to human behavior
by Dr. Estefania Talavera (Assistant Professor in the Data Management and Biometrics group at the University of Twente)
The interpretation of anomalies related to human behavior is a critical aspect of various fields, such as psychology, sociology, and criminology, among others. In this talk, I will describe my work on understanding human behavior from multimodal data. Specifically, I will present our recent line of research on detecting human-related activities of interest through the analysis of skeletal trajectories extracted from videos collected by surveillance video cameras.
We have two more speakers at this event:
- Eric Nalisnick (University of Amsterdam) will tell us about the Deep generative models and its usage in anomalie detection
- Samet Akcay (Intel Corporation) will explain Anomalib, an innovative library that serves as a bridge between state-of-the-art research and real-world product applications
