The NVPHBV organizes two events each year: one in the springtime and one in the autumn. These events showcase (international) keynote speakers that present cutting-edge research and innovative applications in the fields of pattern recognition, image processing, and computer vision. Each event has a specific theme. For example, an event may address developments around technologies such as hyperspectral imaging or deep vision or focus on applications such as precision agriculture or autonomous driving. We aim to bring together individuals and organizations that have contrasting or complimentary perspectives with the hope of offering participants unexpected and valuable insights.
Events are hosted at locations that have a strong fit with the focal topic. This may be a hospital university, high school, company research lab or other relevant and engaging space. Sharing ideas is a pivotal component of every event and we therefore ensure plenty of time for participants to engage each other over lunch, coffee breaks and drinks.
